Tom is head of Global Adoption and Impact Programs at Google for education, and is focused on helping to ensure that technology leads to impact. This involves working with teachers & leaders globally, and helping them develop, share and collaborate with each other across every element of school change; from vision and culture, to community and professional development.
Prior to joining Google, Tom taught, was a product manager at a fin-tech startup in London, and an intelligence officer in the military. He also co-founded and sold an ed tech company that used computer vision to improve the engagement of students with online content. In his spare time he’s a mentor in the Big Brothers program, runs his mini-golf course in Cambodia from afar, and wishes he could still play rugby.
