A Richmond native and resident, Alexandrea began her career in education as a School Improvement Partner at Partners In School Innovation, where she coached educators on how to use the Results-Oriented Cycle of Inquiry model to provide access and instructional support for underserved students. In 2009, Ms. Creer joined LPS Oakland R&D as an English teacher. She journeyed through roles as Academic Dean and Assistant Principal, before assuming her present role of Principal in 2012.
The members of our Leadership Council are Oakland natives, residents, parents, grandparents, former teachers, principals, and alumni of Oakland public schools. Our leaders have deep connections to Oakland and strong backgrounds in education. The Leadership Council supports and guides our work in the best interest of Oakland students.
