Christina started her policy career in Washington D.C. as a legislative aide for her home-state senator. After 7 years in D.C., Christina and her partner journeyed west to start their life and family in the East Bay, eventually settling in West Contra Costa in 2017. Christina joins GO WCC after almost three years as Principal Associate for Education Resource Strategies (ERS), where she conducted analysis to provide actionable recommendations and support to district leaders throughout the state of California.
The members of our Leadership Council are Oakland natives, residents, parents, grandparents, former teachers, principals, and alumni of Oakland public schools. Our leaders have deep connections to Oakland and strong backgrounds in education. The Leadership Council supports and guides our work in the best interest of Oakland students.
