Jesse Molina is an international corporate attorney and dispute resolution professional with 19 years of business and corporate experience.
Currently, Jesse serves as the general counsel for FocusVision, an international technology company with offices in the U.S., Shanghai, Singapore, Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, and London. FocusVision provides cloud based quantitative and qualitative data collection, reporting, and videostreaming services.
Jesse’s grandfather, Jess, emigrated to the United States of America from Jalisco, Mexico. Jess was a farmworker who later became a farmer in Stockton, CA and lived his American dream. Jesse’s mother, Elena, after having three children and with the support of her husband, went to college at the age of 40 and later becoming a principal in Stockton, CA where she dedicated her entire career to serving high-risk youth and underserved communities. Jesse is a parent of a child with special needs. Jesse was a parent advocate through the entire K-12 continuum and later became a special education advocate for other parents in the Central Valley.
Jesse has lived in Fresno for more than 20 years. He received his bachelor’s degree from Fresno State and his juris doctor from San Joaquin College of Law. Jesse resides in Fresno with his wife, Liz, and two children.
The members of our Leadership Council are Oakland natives, residents, parents, grandparents, former teachers, principals, and alumni of Oakland public schools. Our leaders have deep connections to Oakland and strong backgrounds in education. The Leadership Council supports and guides our work in the best interest of Oakland students.
