Krystle Onibokun

Director of Finance and Compliance

Krystle Onibokun is the Director of Finance and Compliance at GO. Prior to joining GO, Krystle worked at EdTec where she supported Charter Schools with their financials. Krystle has also worked at a non-profit measuring its impact on the community’s youth to achieve school success and was a Teach For America Corps Member. Krystle holds a Master of Science in Management, Organizations, and Governance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master of Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and an AB in Economics from Brown University.

Krystle is passionate about public education because she believes all students, no matter their socioeconomic or racial background deserves to have a quality education.

The members of our Leadership Council are Oakland natives, residents, parents, grandparents, former teachers, principals, and alumni of Oakland public schools. Our leaders have deep connections to Oakland and strong backgrounds in education. The Leadership Council supports and guides our work in the best interest of Oakland students.
