Robert A. Wilkins, Sr. is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the YMCA of the East Bay, whichannually serves 55,000 youth and adults in Alameda and West Contra Costa counties with youth development, healthy living and social responsibility programs and services. He is regarded as a national leader in the development of innovative youth, community development and total health programs. Mr. Wilkins is also Adjunct Professor of Practical Theology at the American Baptist Seminary of the West at the GTU in Berkeley. Robert is a graduate of the University of Southern California and completed masters and doctoral studies at American Baptist, Fuller, and San Francisco Theological Seminaries in addition to the Graduate Theological Union. He completed the Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business’ and is an alumnus Fellow at its Center for Social Innovation.
