Vincent Harris currently serves as Executive Officer, District Accountability and Improvement in the Equity and Access unit for the Fresno Unified School District. In this role, Vincent supports the implementation of performance management and equity and access initiatives and measurement systems. Prior to joining Fresno Unified, Vincent participated in the two-year Broad Residency program with the St. Louis Public Schools working as a special assistant to the Chief Financial Officer and School Accountability Office. Vincent’s role prior to transitioning into the education sector included working as a senior finance manager, category finance manager and plant controller with Kraft Foods. He previously held analyst positions with The Clorox Company and Bank of America.
Vincent graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School at the University of California at Berkeley and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Vincent currently serves on the boards of Cultural Brokers, Inc. (CBI) and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). He is serving his first term as President of the Fresno Consolidated Charter of the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA).
The members of our Leadership Council are Oakland natives, residents, parents, grandparents, former teachers, principals, and alumni of Oakland public schools. Our leaders have deep connections to Oakland and strong backgrounds in education. The Leadership Council supports and guides our work in the best interest of Oakland students.
