GO Fresno Welcomes New Executive Director!

GO Public Schools Fresno is excited to welcome Michael “Mike” Espinoza to our team as our new Executive Director. Mike is a parent, an educator, an experienced community organizer, and a committed leader. He got his start teaching high school in Houston, Texas. His passion for education and drive towards social justice and equity eventually drew him out of teaching and into full time advocacy and community organizing. He has worked with organizations and movements like SEIU’s Justice for Janitors Campaign, Fight for $15, and Stand for Children. In his 17 years of experience as an organizer, he has advocated alongside classroom teachers, school leaders, parents, immigrant students, faith community leaders, commercial office building janitors, and Latino voters. His career reflects a lifelong commitment to improving the quality of life of low-wage workers and working families.
